Join us to explore the variety of marks, textures and effects possible with fine tip pens. We'll look at a range of examples, discuss techniques and exercises and have plenty of time for drawing and feedback. All skill levels are welcome.
This interactive workshop will take place on Zoom. Students will receive the meeting link via email one day prior to the workshop.
Recommended Supplies:
9 x 12 or 11 x 14 multi-use sketchbook
2 drawing pencils of different hardnesses (HB and 2B)
1 grey kneaded eraser
1 white plastic eraser
Pencil sharpener
Any fine tip pen - felt tip, roller ball or ballpoint; Micron, Pilot, etc. are all good. “Fine tip pens” is a broad category, “fine” is meant just to distinguish them from big markers. Our focus will be on monochromatic line drawing and shading, so black or another dark color are all good.
(We know it's hard to get new art supplies just now, so feel free to join with whatever you have.)
