Artist talk with full exhibit. As explained by the artist, “A Line is like a sacred thread with which I create my work without any preconceived notion, sketch, or idea. I build my image directly with lines on the canvas or paper gradually, and painstakingly. I do not intend to represent any man made or nature made object in my work. My emphasis is to build a unique abstract image.”
A collection of thirty-eight works in acrylic, and pen and ink have been carefully selected to demonstrate S.K. Sahni’s pursuit of the line
