Remnant Brewing and The Blank Canvas Company are teaming up for Women's History Month to bring you a paint night focused on positivity & empowerment. Erica, the artist behind the Blank Canvas Co., will help you create a one-of-a-kind canvas to hang on your wall featuring your own unique color palette and personal mantra!
What can I expect during this 2.5 hour sip & paint workshop?
In the first 30 minutes, we'll give you time to find a seat, mingle with your painting peers, pick your paint, grab a beer (or two) and get comfortable. From there, Erica will take you through some key steps to creating your color-soaked backdrop on canvas. Once your paint is dry, you'll handwrite your mantra to finalize your personalized piece of art. Don't worry - there will plenty of time for practice beforehand - and many breaks for additional beverages. Liquid courage is ALWAYS encouraged in this studio!
What's included in my ticket price?
We'll provide the canvases, paint, brushes and 1 complimentary beer ticket. All you need to do is show up with an open mind, some creative juices and your personal mantra. A personal mantra can be a positive phrase or affirmative statement that you say to yourself for the purpose of motivation, encouragement or empowerment. This could be your favorite quote, lyric, proverb, spiritual truth or religious saying that motivates and inspires you to be your best self.
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing something comfortable and casual that you wouldn't mind getting paint on. Although acrylic paint is water-based, it can stain your clothes.
Can I cancel my ticket puchase at any time?
Unfortunately, cancellations or no shows will not result in a refund or credit to a future class. If an emergency cancellation should occur, please contact Erica directly at [email protected].
Is drinking involved?
Oh, hell ya! Remnant Brewing is, as you may have guessed, a brewery. And your ticket happens to include 1 complimentary beer - wahoo! Additional beer is available for purchase if you are at least 21 years old.
What if I'm not an artist?
It's totally fine! We are all artists in some way, shape or form - even if we don't consider ourselves to be. Between the delicious beer and my female-inspired playlist, I promise there will be enough creativity and inspiration to go around. All levels are welcome.
We only have 25 seats available in the brewery, so snag your tickets before they sell out!
