Please join us in supporting survivors of sexual assault by sponsoring Victim Rights Law Center’s (VRLC) Shining Star Celebration, our largest annual fundraiser!
All proceeds from the Shining Star Celebration will support free legal services for survivors, helping to keep survivors safe in their homes, jobs, schools, and the country.
VRLC was founded in 2003 as the first nonprofit law center in the country solely dedicated to serving the legal needs of sexual assault survivors. In our 21 years, we have helped 20,000 survivors and trained and mentored tens of thousands of professionals through our extensive educational programs to better serve survivors in their own communities.
This year’s Shining Star Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter in Boston. Join us for light bites, drinks, networking, and an inspirational speaking program.
The event includes a variety of awards recognizing leadership, courage, and perseverance. Past recipients include Robbie Kaplan (attorney for E. Jean Carroll), Professor Anita Hill, Gloria Steinem, Ashley Judd, and the Boston Globe Spotlight Team.
Shining Star brings together 250 supporters and philanthropists including many young professionals, as well as established businesspeople in the fields of law, finance, and more.
