Tesuji shibori is a traditional Japanese resist-dyeing technique known for creating intricate, linear patterns by precisely pleating fabric over a rope core (or other cylindrical object) and binding it tightly before dyeing, revealing precise patterns when unbound. We will create a tea towel with this technique. All materials are provided.
