The acclaimed Broadway musical She Loves Me comes to the Priscilla Beach Theatre (PBT) barn stage from May 27- June 4. A lively romantic comedy with old-world elegance, engaging characters and dazzling musical numbers, She Loves Me is set in a 1930s Budapest perfumery where the staff’s lives are amusingly, and sometimes painfully entwined. The multi award-winning musical includes book by Joe Masteroff, music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. She Loves Me is based on the Mikos Lazlos play “Parfuemerie” which has inspired several adaptions, including the 1940 Jimmy Stewart film “The Shop Around The Corner” and the 1998 Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan film “You’ve Got Mail.”
