Kick-off Shavuot this coming week with learning and coming together!

THURSDAY EVENING MAY 28 at 7:30 pm. LED by RABBI KLEIN

“Waiting for Moses: Encountering and Coping with an Uncertain World”

Shavuot is about the revelation at Sinai and the giving of the 10-Commandments.

The text of the Torah quickly gives way to the making of the Golden Calf — as the Israelites lose hope that Moshe will return from Mount Sinai.

Join us in this session, where we will study and discuss the Biblical text and ancient midrashim that explore the Israelites’ experience of fear and anxiety. We will also look at a teaching from Rebbe Nachman of Bratslav about coping with an uncertain world.

FRIDAY NIGHT MAY 29TH SHABBAT + SHAVUOT at 6:30 pm.

SATURDAY MORNING. MAY 30Th at 10:00 am. SHABBAT + SHAVUOT + YIZKOR. LED by RABBI KLEIN.
