t’s officially Spring, but does the Rocky Woods forest community know?
Join us for a guided hike to explore the mysteries of the changing seasons! We’ll journey along the trails around the Rocky Woods ponds, actively searching for the earliest signs that spring has truly arrived. Discover how local plants and animals “know” it’s time to wake up, from emerging buds to active wildlife.
Please dress in layers appropriate for the weather and for hiking over uneven terrain with some moderate elevation gains. The hike loop will be determined based on trail conditions and other factors.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. While Rocky Woods is a dog-friendly property, dogs are not allowed on group hikes.
Recommended for ages 7+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
