Taly is pleased to announce that it will host a screening of 'No Small Matter' on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Amazing Things Art Center, 160 Hollis Street, Framingham. 'No Small Matter' is the must-see documentary highlighting how critical early childhood education is for our children, families, and communities. This event – co-sponsored by Framingham State University, MassBay Community College, and MetroWest Health Foundation – will start with a pre-screening reception at 6 pm, followed by the screening and panel discussion at 7 pm.
No Small Matter, produced by the Kindling Group and Siskel/Jacobs Productions, is the first feature documentary to explore early childhood education (ECE) via stories from real children, families, and teachers. The film is also firmly grounded in science and shares information about child brain development using animation and the voices of scientists, physicians, and ECE experts. Actor, producer, and political activist Alfre Woodard served as No Small Matter’s executive producer.
Admission is open to all and tickets are free; please reserve your seat via TalyFoundation.org/Taly-Events.
