Scotland! The name conjures up visions of misty heather punctuated by divine, art-filled country houses and yards of tartan. And it’s all true! In June of 2015 an American Ancestors group traveled to the land of the thistle for an exceptional tour of some of Scotland’s greatest houses. Join us for a virtual tour highlighting some of the special places visited, including Robert Adam’s Neoclassical masterpiece, Mellerstain; the Earl of Rosebery’s Dalmeny House; and Traquair, occupied for almost 1,000 years and the originator of the Scottish Baronial style.
