WHAT: On October 20th and 21st, 2014 Salvatore’s Restaurant, the upscale casual Italian eatery with five locations in the Greater Boston area, will offer a special à la carte menu to support Bakes for Breast Cancer. When guests order from the Breast Cancer Awareness Month Menu, a donation will be given to Bakes for Breast Cancer to help further research and prevent Breast Cancer.
Bakes for Breast Cancer is known for creating “desserts with purpose,” and they strive to further education, prevention and research for breast cancer with every sweet their partners bake. Bakes for Breast Cancer is now launching a dining series and Salvatore’s Restaurant is the first restaurant to be part of it.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Month specials will include festive fall dishes like: Harpoon Pumpkin UFO braised pork belly served with butternut squash, brown butter and sage for $12, Gnocchi served with sweet sausage and Ligurian walnut cream sauce for $12, Cioppino with whitefish, shrimp, mussels, clams, lobster, zesty tomato brodo and herbed crostini for $32; and to end the night, a delicious Pumpkin Crème Brûlée for $8.
