Join Us on March 12th for our Salon with Lew Epstein, General Manager of Coalesse and Turnstone.


Our March 12th Salon examines the culture of Modern Craft & Customization through our roles as 21st-century makers and as active participants in the design process. We will explore key questions to uncover what might be next on the horizon:


– What new materials, technologies and manufacturing methods are changing the future of craft?


– How might customization build deeper engagement, personal enjoyment, and cultural meaning?


Lew Epstein leads Coalesse and Turnstone for Steelcase. Lew leads the diverse product and brand development teams for Coalesse and Turnstone as well as our partners around the world. With teams based in Munich and Michigan, Lew brings global expertise to the Steelcase design portfolio.


Previously, Lew was Vice President and Creative Director at Metro, which became a part of the Coalesse brand in 2008 under Lew's leadership. Lew's experience in product and brand development lends him a unique point of view on design trends.


Lunch will be served at 11:45 am and Lew's presentation will begin at 12:00 pm. Please arrive between 11:30 and 11:45 am to allow for a prompt start.
