We are hosting a Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 25, from 1-4pm at The Substation! Join us to meet local business owners who offer a range of wellness services, including acupuncture, reiki, massage therapy, personal training, and more!
Greater Roslindale Medical & Dental Center will be there with a wealth of resources and information! The Mass General Brigham Community Care Van will offer health screenings throughout the event. Learn more.
At 3pm, join Venus House for a workshop on "The Practice of Self-Trust." Learn more and sign up in advance here!
Greater Roslindale Medical & Dental Center will offer a variety of services and information. They will have new-patient forms available and clinicians on site, along with a spin wheel for wellness-themed prizes and a raffle entry for a chance to win one of two laptops! Additional resources include:
- Blood pressure checks and information will be available
- Their Community Health team will distribute information on resources offered in the Roslindale area (food insecurity, housing, social needs, etc.)
- Their Population Health team will have a mammogram van interest list and cancer screening awareness information, and will offer a 15-minute cancer screening presentation
- Their Behavioral Health team will offer presentations on anxiety and depression and lead a collaborative mural, grounding exercises, and a Q&A
