A workshop to share and celebrate stories, images and movement dealing with the questions that include immigrant/refugee concerns in the context of times in our lives when we chose or were forced to flee – geographically, emotionally, spiritually. All are welcome, regardless of experience.
Workshop participants will have a chance to perform informally the following Sunday, June 24, at The Dance Complex.
“Running From/Running To…Cambridge” is an All In Movement project of The Dance Complex, supported in part by the Cambridge Community Foundation. Its artistic collaborators include Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion, Sue Katz, Josean Ortiz and Pedro Cruz, with the initial funding supplied by NEFA’s Creative City program, in association with Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion/Villa Victoria Center for the Arts.
