A visually and conceptually impressive film from German director Tom Tykwer, Run Lola Run follows the flame-haired Lola (Franka Potente), as she desperately tries to save the life of her boyfriend - two-bit Berlin criminal Manni (Moritz Bleibtreu) after he botches a job for his boss (Heino Ferch). With just 20 minutes to come up with 100,000 deutsche marks, the film takes viewers on a wild ride through the multiple outcomes provoked by the smallest of changes in Lola's plans, provocatively exploring the role of luck, chance and fate in the everyday world.
