Join us online for a community conversation between Michael Curry, Esq., president and CEO of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, Kevin M. Simon, MD, MPH, City of Boston Chief Behavioral Health Officer, and Sandra McCroom, president and CEO of Children’s Services of Roxbury. The trio will discuss equitable access to behavioral health care and workforce opportunities; breaking through racial stigmas of mental health diagnoses and the generational impacts; and current legislation to advance health equity.
About ROXTalks
Children’s Services of Roxbury established “ROXTalks” as an intentional effort to dismantle systemic racism, change the trajectory for communities of color, and build a more equitable Massachusetts. The 2023-2024 series of ROXTalks community conversations with The Commonwealth’s elected officials, community leaders, and influencers on “Forging One Boston” will feature discussions on transforming the social and economic health of communities of color across the Commonwealth and breaking the cycle of systemic racism for future generations.
