WHO:
General Manager Jillian Rocco has long been a vocal advocate of chenin blanc: paired with oysters, the restaurant’s smoked and cured seafood offerings – or just because. In celebration of her passion, Row 34 is throwing down for a summer afternoon shindig featuring a selection of chenin blanc wines paired with freshly shucked oysters on the Fort Point restaurant’s outdoor patio.
WHAT:
Row 34 General Manager, Jillian Rocco, will present three surprisingly different but equally delicious takes on the single wine varietal chenin blanc, each expertly paired with a freshly shucked bivalve from varying regions around New England. Guests will enjoy the diverse flavors of dry, sparkling and rosé chenin blanc wines as well as tasty passed snacks prepared by Executive Chef Jeremy Sewall. Bivalve farmers will put down their oyster knives to chat with guests and answer questions for the knowledge-hungry oyster lover, while Rocco’s own rocking playlist will bring guests to their feet for an afternoon of partying.
