The 35th Annual Roslindale Tree Lighting celebration will take place on Saturday, November 30th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Adams Park in Roslindale Village. The event is open to all ages and will feature a "Reindog Contest", brass band, stage performances, ornament making arts and craft tables, free hot chocolate from the Boston Lodge of Elks #10, free holiday treats from local bakeries and restaurants, free giveaways in recognition of Small Business Saturday, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be arriving on the Boston Fire Dept's Ladder 16/Engine 53. Local dignitaries will be on hand to speak about supporting the local businesses this holiday season and light the community tree.
