In conjunction with the current exhibit, “Recent Work of Ron Rosenstock”, on view through October 26th, HCA will host three half hour talks on Tuesday, October 24th entitled, “The making of meaningful photographs.” Ron will present images and quotes from photographers who have influenced his work, including Minor White and Paul Caponigro, his teachers, and Ansel Adams, with whom he initiated a correspondence. Ron will also talk about his world travels, including Iceland and Greenland, where he has witnessed vast climate change. Ron has photographed the same glaciers from the same vantage point and witnesses totally different landscapes from year to year!
