Rockin’ for Janie, a night of hope and healing, is a Youth Villages Massachusetts event in partnership with Steven Tyler’s Janie’s Fund, a philanthropic initiative created with Youth Villages to bring hope and healing to girls who have suffered the trauma of abuse and neglect.
Featuring a ’90s-theme, the event will be held Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Hard Rock Cafe, located at 22 Clinton St. in Boston. The night will include live music by Last Child, heavy appetizers and an open bar.
Money raised during the event will help support YVLifeSetTM, an evidence-informed program to assist young adults ages 17 to 22 who need intensive help as they transition to independent adulthood.
Since 2016, Janie’s Fund has contributed more than $400,000 to support young women in Youth Villages Massachusetts’ YVLifeSet program. All money raised at Rockin’ for Janie will help even more young women achieve independent adulthood.
