Don't miss the event of the summer! Come for an afternoon of roaring twenties fun at our historic seaside estate. You'll find 1920s and 30s jazz on 2 stages, antique autos, a vintage fair, flappers and dandies, suffragists, and contests. 


Explore the formal gardens, compete in contests, take a dance lesson, participate in a fashion parade, and enjoy a drink at the Bootlegger's Garden featuring Mill River Winery, 1634 Meadery, and True North Ales. For more information about performers, special activities, and the schedule of events, please visit the Roaring Twenties Lawn Party website. Bring your own supper, pre-order a picnic from Ferreira Foods by Monday, July 28 at Noon, or visit one of our onsite vendors: Beefie Boys, Ferreira Foods, Down River Ice Cream, Bluewater Kitchen (Sat) or The Lobster Roller (Sun).


Dance lessons and other staged events will begin at 2PM. Vintage attire is suggested but not required. A string of beads, a hat, or other simple accessory can turn a regular outfit into a 1920s outfit.  

Gates open at 1PM. Advance tickets are required. Tickets will not be available on-site. Please note that this is a rain-or-shine event. No refunds or exchanges. Dance floors and vintage fair will be tented.


Accessibility: Accessible parking and property transports are available upon request.

The Roaring Twenties Lawn Party is presented by The Trustees of Reservations and Boston Swing Central, a dancer-formed, volunteer-run, non-profit dedicated to promoting swing dance.
