Come See Riot Theater Company's flagship Stand Up Comedy Show.
In collaboration with long time comedy producers, Anderson Comedy, we are bringing prime time Stand Up Comedy featuring both local and touring acts to the stage of The Rozzie Square Theater every Friday at 10pm.
Featuring new and veteran comics from Comedy Central, Fox, and more! Come by and enjoy this wonderful stand-up show to top off or start off your night! Each Night is different. Come check out the show based on what sounds good to you!
Week 1 Pokebattle
It’s the hottest new comedy show in The Boston area. Riot Theater Company, Anderson Comedy and DTFO productions present PokeBattle. Trainer Liam McGurk and trainer Paul Cyphers pick four decorated comedians to battle in intervals of 3 minutes. 2 teams enter, but only one team can claim the title of Pokebattle Comedy Champion. Featuring hilarious comedy, fast paced competition, and a couple of very special guests. Pokebattle at Rozzie Square Theater is a comedy attraction you don’t want to miss. Pokemon is an original creation of Anderson Comedy. Bring it on Pokemon Company. It’s your lawyers versus ours (holy moly please don’t sue us).
Week 2 Headliners Show
Want to see one of the best Comedians around perform a headline set! This is the week for you! Come see the best underground as well renown acts perform a headlining set! You may have seen one of these comics on Late-night or another television network. Or they may be one of the best up and coming comedians on the scene right now!
Week 3 Showcase Show
A showcase of local and national favorites! Come say a pu pu platter of hilarity!
Week 4 Hecklefest!
Hecklefest is a unique show where disruptions not only encouraged, they should be expected. It's Boston's meanest show. Up and coming comics perform in front of 3 featured hecklers intentionally ruin their set for laughs. The audience also is encouraged to get involved in a no-holds-barred round where the whole room can heave jokes back at the stage. At the end of the day it's comics hanging out with comics and it's always a blast! But be advised, if mean or offensive comedy isn't your thing, this might not be the show for you.
