Join us in person or over Zoom Webinar for this Mental Health Awareness Month conversation program featuring Dr. Jeremy Nobel in conversation with Boston Public Library President David Leonard.
Loneliness is a growing public health crisis impacting over half of Americans, impairing mental and physical health and sapping our vitality and resilience—but there’s a creative way forward! Art-making and creative expression offer innovative and unique ways to help us reconnect to ourselves and others. Join loneliness expert Jeremy Nobel, MD, MPH, President of The Foundation for Art & Healing and faculty member of Harvard Medical School, along with Boston Public Library President David Leonard for an intriguing conversation as they unpack the complexities of loneliness, revealing how the arts engage, inspire, and connect, helping us all become “UnLonely.”
There will be an opportunity for in person audience members to ask questions toward the end of the main program. If you are attending online and have a question before the program, please submit it when you register to attend.
Local independent bookstore partner Trident Booksellers & Cafe will have copies of Project UnLonely: Healing our Crisis of Disconnection available for purchase and Dr. Nobel will sign copies after the talk.
