What is Resilient Coders?
Resilient Coders is a Boston-based non profit spreading code literacy to young black and brown adults from traditionally underserved communities. We aim to diversify the tech sector, training and placing talent into high-paying high-growth software engineering jobs.

What is a Hackathon?
This is an opportunity for you to assess your interest in coding, and explore whether Resilient Coders' 14-week Bootcamp is for you. During this one-day program you'll learn some Web Development (coding) basics and explore how tech can be used to create change in your community. A select number of participants will be invited to apply to the Bootcamp (the next one is January through April), with the long term goal of placing participants in a high-paid job as a software engineer. We are targeting people ages 18 to 27, with a high school diploma or its equivalency. No prior technical experience necessary and a bi-weekly stipend is provided ($500).

The next Hackathon is on Wednesday November 28th, from 10am to 5pm at the Roxbury Innovation Center, 2300 Washington St, Boston, MA 02119. Sign up here to register (http://bit.ly/learn-to-code-boston). Also, you can learn more about Resilient Coders at http://resilientcoders.org
