By the mid-1800s America stretched from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean, and the Pacific Northwest, a region with a wealth of Indigenous food resources, was a desirable place to settle. However, this region that includes the states of Oregon, Washington, and Alaska did not find its distinctive culinary style until recently, only about four decades ago. Come cook alongside Sheri to discover this new, ingredient-driven cuisine style that honors both its Native American heritage while incorporating world cuisine techniques and food attitudes!
