Boston’s Tenth Music for Food Series Opens October 20, 2019
The Boston chapter of Music for Food proudly presents the opening concert of its 10th season, "Reflections: East-West," on Sunday, October 20, at 7:30 PM at New England Conservatory’s Brown Hall, Boston MA.

Telemann–Concerto for 4 Violins in G major, TWV 40:201
Betty Olivero–“Neharót Neharót”
Luke Hsu–Partita for violin and piano
Telemann–Viola Concerto in G major, TWV 51:G9


Artists:
Eureka Ensemble, Kim Kashkashian, Geneva Lewis, Maria Ioudenitch, Jing Peng, Andrew Samarasekara, Don Weilerstein, Vivian Weilerstein, Rachel Yi, Zhanbo Zheng


Suggested donation is $30+, $10+ students, collected at the door. 100% of donations will benefit Women's Lunch Place—a day shelter serving homeless women in the greater Boston area.


Music for Food is a musician-led initiative for local hunger relief. All concerts raise resources and awareness in the fight against hunger, empowering any musicians who wish to use their artistry to further social justice. Founded in 2010 by Grammy award-winning violist Kim Kashkashian, Music for Food has provided over 500,000 meals to nearly 100 hunger-relief organizations nationwide, with the volunteer participation of more than 160 artists and ensembles.
