This series of three workshops follow the rhythm and insights from nature aimed to support wellness of bodies, minds, hearts, and spirits. In February, we will reflect on the past year and set intentions for the year to come. In March, we renew ourselves as we welcome the beginning of Spring. In April, we rejoice in the full beauty, color, and abundance of Spring. Each workshop integrates mindfulness, writing, creative practice, movement, and group discussion. Please come with an open-mind and an open-heart. Please bring a journal or writing pad. All other materials will be supplied.

To attend, please register here.

About Dr. Heang Leung Rubin

"I am the principal and founder of CHIC Community Engagement Consulting LLC. The mission of CHIC is to uplift our communities through the values of compassion, healing, imagination, and celebration. This work is informed by my multiple identities as an advocate, writer, healer, teacher, organizer, mother, farmer, and researcher. Like many in the “Great Resignation” of 2019, the isolation of the pandemic gave me the time for deep reflection and inner inquiry through which I realized that I wasn’t in a profession and a work environment where I could be my best self. My purpose in life was growing and expanding and I realized there were other ways I wanted to serve and be in the world. I present this workshop series as an offering to bring a spirit of healing to Boston during this time. These offerings are based on personal experiences of developing a chronic health condition at the age of 30 and learning what healthy living really is. As painful as this time was in my life, I now see it as a gift. These offerings represent some of what helped me in my healing journey that I want to share with others who are also on the path to healing, health, and wholeness. I am a twenty-year resident of Jamaica Plain and live there now with my husband and 10-year old son."
