You’re invited to the Celestial Pageant of the millennia. Dress code is glitter, fungus, shimmer, and shine. But it's April 2020, so who (or what) is gathering under these conditions? We find twenty-year-old Ixchel Robinson isolated in her Brooklyn apartment, overcome by the passing of her abuela. Her best friend Nathaniel drags her out of bed, excited to explore a magical growth in Ixchel's basement. The duo embarks on an epic adventure uncovering ancestral knowledge as they weave through a treacherous and spinning world.


Red Rainbow is part of Tufts 2022-2023 season of “A Year of Queer Magic,” supporting new works and queer futures. Thank you for joining us.
