In this hands-on sensory workshop designed to create community and connection, we will learn about the interplay of aromas and memories. Smells travel directly to the limbic system, the region of the brain directly connected to emotions and memories. We will learn about this connection between aromas and emotions, engage our sense of smell by identifying and exploring aromas, and sharing our memories. You’ll come away from the class learning about how to think with the senses and ways to build your very own smell system. Instructor: Krina Patel, Ed.D.
