Quorum Boston welcomes all to our Winter Concert, featuring works by Francis Poulenc, Hildegard von Bingen, and Benjamin Britten along with a world premiere by Allston composer Inti Figgis-Vizueta, who is our current Composer in Residence! Let the music of many voices lead you in an exploration of duality, silence and embodiment in the Holiday Season. Singers are local LGBTQ musicians.

Quorum Boston is an LGBTQ vocal ensemble founded in 2017 by Lorraine Fitzmaurice. Our mission is to promote the work of new queer composers and those forgotten by history and combat the erasure of queerness in canonical composers. Through our Composer in Residence program, we provide composers particularly those who are un-established, persons of color, and/or trans - a platform to reach broader audiences. Quorum Boston functions both as a safe space for its members, and an incubator for radical artistic and scholarly collaboration within this great city of Boston.

Tickets are on a sliding scale: $20 General Admission; $10 Student/Low income; Children under 8 free, and NO ONE TURNED AWAY regardless of how much you can pay! You are also welcome to donate to us by paying over $20. All donations go towards covering costs, paying our musicians, and keeping ticket prices low for those with little to no disposable income.

Doors open at 7:30pm.
