When it comes to global cuisine, Italy and France are heavy hitters. From the rolling hills of Tuscany to the lush vineyards of Burgundy, these two countries offer some of the greatest food and drink the world has ever seen, particularly in wine and cheese. Picking one over the other is nearly impossible. What if you had to...?
Spend an evening with wine and cheese writer and educator Adam Centamore pitting these two superstar cultures against each other in the most delicious combat possible. You'll sample cheeses and condiments from both countries, each competing for your affections. Of course, there will be plenty of tasty French and Italian wines to complicate matters.
It's the Louvre versus the Uffizi! Tiramisu against eclairs! Paris or Rome! You eat and drink, you vote, you decide!
You can choose to take this class in person at Commonwealth Wine School or online streaming through Zoom. Tastings are provided as part of the in person class. A list of suggested wines will be provided for students who choose to join from home, prior to class so that you can taste along.
