Join us for a creative space where queer and trans history intertwine with personal storytelling in our "Queer Letters Across Time" workshop! Guided by Lavender Education, this event invites you to craft letters that bridge generations, honoring voices from the past while expressing the spirit of the present. Through the magical medium of historical fiction, you’ll create heartfelt, imagined letters inspired by eras that shaped queer and trans communities.
What to Expect:
- Historical Inspiration: Use prompts and stories from LGBTQ+ history to ground your writing and make connections across time.
- Personal Writing: Write letters that embody your unique perspective while connecting with the stories of those who came before.
- Creative Community: Engage with other participants in a warm, inclusive space.

- A copy of Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo
- Writing supplies, including stationery and pen
- Resource booklet with prompts and historical context
- Light refreshments, including snacks, water, and juice
