Qi Gong is an ancient practice from China which enhances life force for health, vitality, and peace of mind. A gentle moving meditation, it integrates posture, breath, and mental focus, balancing the energies of earth and heaven in the body. Meridian Yoga opens the acupuncture channels that carry these universal energies, and is a wonderful complement to Qi Gong.
In this series of four classes, we will explore Qi Gong and Meridian Yoga, with the goal of improving flexibility, gathering and circulating life-force energy, and helping bring the mind to stillness. Among other Qi Gong exercises, the “Eight Brocades,” “Swimming Dragon,” and “Phoenix Rises from the Ashes” will be taught. These classes are appropriate for all levels of students, from beginners to advanced.
Cost: $75 for the series (or $25 to drop in to a single class)
