On June 11th, the LEGO Group is celebrating World Play Day, an initiative officially adopted by the United Nations (UN) to protect and promote children's
right to play.
To celebrate, the LEGO Group is creating an interactive activation in the heart of Boston, where guests will be transported into a mini city built entirely of LEGO bricks and equipped with imaginative zones of play for kids.
This World Play Day, put Boston into Play Mode at the Rose Kennedy Greenway Wednesday, June 11th through Sunday, June 15th from 11am – 6pm. No registration required.
What is World Play Day?
World Play Day is how The LEGO Group celebrates the globally recognized and United Nations-adopted—yes, that United Nations—International Day of Play. And there are no rules. Well, except one: play. That’s the biggest rule. Oh, and to have fun. And spread positive vibes. But other than that, there are NO RULES. So, June 11—every single one, from now until forever—is for unleashing creativity, switching play mode ON, and connecting through the power of play. And this year, it’s going to be more playful than ever—are you ready?
