Pumpkin Picking at Langwater Farm

We grow several Pick Your Own crops here at Langwater Farm, and we love inviting our community into the field to participate in the harvest. Check picking conditions and field closure notices (updated daily during PYO season) below and on our facebook page. You don’t need a facebook account to view our page. 

Unfortunately, we can’t allow pets on the farm, including dogs. We grow and sell food here, and pets + food safety don’t mix. Thank you for leaving your pets at home.

Please wear footwear appropriate for a farm and bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray with you if you need them.

PUMPKINS

Open Saturdays & Sundays through October 26th! No reservations needed. Our hayride brings you from the farm store to our PYO pumpkin patch and corn maze.

Hayride tickets are available for purchase at any register. Tickets must be used on the day of purchase. Hayrides run to and from the field throughout the day (approximately every 20-30 minutes, from 10am-5pm). The final outbound hayride departs the farm store at 5pm.

• Hayrides (age 3 and up) – $3 per person
• PYO Pumpkins (by weight)
• Carving pumpkin – $0.95/lb
• Sugar pumpkin – $1.25/lb
• Heirloom winter squash – $1.50/lb
• Corn Maze – $4 per person or $12 per family

Rugged footwear is required for our corn maze, as our paths may not be as clear as other corn mazes you have run through in the past. Certified organic farms don’t use any herbicides to clear our paths, so they are a bit more rugged, but just as fun!

When you return from the field and exit the hayride, please pay for your pumpkins at our Weigh & Pay station under the tent.

FLOWERS

PYO Flowers is open! We grow dozens of kinds of flowers—from Asters to Zinnias, Sunflowers to Snapdragons—in every color of the rainbow. Just stop by the farm anytime we are open (Tuesday-Sunday, 10am-6pm); no reservations required.

Here’s how it works:

• When you arrive, check in at the register in the farm store and purchase admission to the field. You can bring your own scissors, or we can lend you a pair.
• PYO flower bouquet (flowers only): $16
• PYO flower bouquet (with mason jar of water): $20.50
• Head out to the flower field! Enter through the gate on the Washington Street side of the field, just inside the stone wall. You can pick as many stems as fit in wide-mouth mason jar, or in the ring for a wide-mouth mason jar.
• When you’re finished picking, please return your scissors and check out at the farm store before you head home.
