Promises, Promises, a musical based on the film The Apartment, opens on Friday, April 7.


Set in New York City in 1968, it's about Chuck Baxter, a junior executive who climbs the corporate ladder by letting his bosses use his apartment for trysts. All is well, until he learns that one of the bosses mistresses is Fran Kubelik, the object of his affection.
