Everyone talks about goal setting and project planning but yet when you are running a business it often seems like the goals you set and plans you put in place don’t end up the way you thought. Why is that? Why is it so hard to stay on course? Why is it so hard to hit your goals? Why is it so hard to complete a task on time?
Well, in this workshop we are addressing that exact problem. My name is Dominique Aubry and I am the CEO of the Black Women’s Guide. I am a management consultant with over 15 years of experience in strategic operations in high level organizations such as Teach For America, Impact Hub and the Mayor’s Office of Philadelphia. I run educational training for high performing Black and Latina women who want to grow their business or career.
In this workshop we will:
Review the ways to organize your tasks/information lists
Learn methods to standardize how you break down tasks to gain clarity
Learn how to allocate time to each task
Learn how to schedule map to increase efficiency and reduce burnout
Review project management software to manage your projects individually and as a team
You will use your current list of tasks to get organized on the spot, reduce those overwhelming feelings, increase clarity, and create an action plan for your business.
In this workshop we will talk through task breakdown and scheduling mapping so that you can meet your business goals on time! Sometimes the simplest processes provide the best results. Our goal in this workshop is for you to walk away with a simple way to consistently prioritize, break down tasks, assess time load and schedule the completion of the task with 90% accuracy.
