On June 10, 2017, at 11:00 am, Old South Church in Boston will honor The Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence – "a modern Order of Nuns, comprised of people of all gender associations, all spiritual affiliations, and all proclivities to do good works." Less than a day following the Pulse nightclub shooting, The Boston Sisters led a vigil on Copley Square. They brought us together to cry, wail, rage, laugh, and love again. Their ministry that night was a wonder to behold. They will be presented the Open Door award during Pride Morning Worship – a high-energy, joyous service celebrating the LGBTQ community.
