Positively Pumpkin – Kiddos in the Kitchen

Celebrate fall with this fun, hands-on baking class featuring Pumpkin Spice Doughnut Muffins and Pumpkin Hand Pies.

Guest chef and cookbook author, Tammy Donroe Inman, (New England Brunch, New England Desserts) will show your young chefs how to turn Powisset-grown ingredients into warm and comforting baked goods in our beautiful teaching kitchen. Skills they’ll learn include how to turn fresh pumpkins into pumpkin pie filling, making pie dough from scratch, and creating delicious spice blends all their own.

Included in this class:

• Cooking demonstration and hands-on learning experience.
• Instruction from an experienced, top-notch instructor.
• Recipes to take home.
• At the end of each class, the opportunity to enjoy the food you created.

This drop-off class is designed for children ages 7-12. Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 8 participants required for class to take place. Please Note: Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact [email protected] 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. As a general policy, The Trustees does not issue refunds for weather-shortened programs, in keeping with our standard approach to outdoor programs and the unpredictability of New England weather.
