When Pride Parades everywhere were canceled or postponed, we were completely crushed. But we know that Pride can still live on during these socially distant times! That's why we organized Porch Pride 2020!
– What is Porch Pride?
Porch Pride is a socially distant and safe way to celebrate Pride outside with other members of the LGBTQ community. On June 20th starting at 1pm EST, we will get all decked out in our Pride gear, go outside onto our porches, driveways or the sidewalks in front of our apartment buildings. Play music on your Bluetooth speakers, make yourself a margarita, wave at the other members of your community celebrating outside of their houses and keep Pride alive!
– What do I get for registering?
If you're one of the first 100 people to register, you'll be entered into a drawing to win our first 10 Porch Pride 2020 t-shirts! *Delivery only available in Boston due to COVID-19

– How will we stay socially distant?
We strongly recommend following your state guidelines for social distancing. If your state is mandating no group gatherings, party on your porch with members of your household only and do not invite other households to come over. If you want to walk around the neighborhood and see who else is out, make sure you're wearing masks at all times and remaining 6 feet apart when you can. Let's enjoy each other's company from a safe distance!
– What if I'm the only LGBTQ person in my community?
Celebrate virtually! Take pictures and go on Twitter with the hashtag #porchpride and tag @lezhangoutpod or join our Lez Hang Out livestream from Ellie or Leigh's porch where they'll be hanging out, playing some music and enjoying Porch Pride!
– How will other people know I'm participating in Porch Pride?
Grab a Porch Pride t-shirt, tank, tote to let everyone know you're celebrating! Wrap yourself in a rainbow flag! Or just wave in gay! They'll know ;) And you can post on social media with the hashtag #porchpride and tag @lezhangoutpod so we can see everyone celebrating!
