See Stanley Kubrick's The Shining outdoors at another pop-up drive in at Medfield State Hospital!
Upon arrival, you will park in the field near the entrance of Medfield State Hospital where the screen will be set up and view the film safely from inside of your vehicle. Cars will be parked with adequate social distance in between. Larger vehicles like trucks, vans, or SUVs will be parked toward the back to avoid obstructed views.
We do encourage you to arrive early if you would like to walk the grounds of Medfield State Hospital before the film begins at sundown, approximately 8:00pm. These events are rain or shine, and tickets are non-refundable.
We’ll be projecting the film onto a 40 foot inflatable screen using state of the art equipment provided by Boston Light and Sound.
