ABOUT THIS EVENT

A lot of y’all have been asking for this event, so we’re hosting our FIRST EVER poly speed-dating event for all genders who are interested in dating all genders!! And we’re SO excited to be at Remnant Brewing for the first time! :D

You would probably have a good time at this event if ALL of the following are true of you:

- You are aged 25-35 (plus or minus a year-ish is cool too)
- You are polyamorous (monogamous events coming soon! Stay tuned!)
- You would enjoy dating someone of any gender

You would probably NOT have a good time at this event if *any* of the above statements are NOT true of you.

This event is trans-inclusive. We do not tolerate transphobia at this or any of our events.

We can only accommodate 30 guests at this event, so please plan to grab a ticket as soon as you think you'd like to join us.

Want to get off your dating apps and meet someone in real life, but where you don’t have to find out that every cute person at the party is unavailable? Do you think that IRL speed dating is generally awkward and weird? So do we. That’s why we’re putting a Skip the Small Talk twist on dating.

Skip the Small Talks are usually **NOT** for dating, but so many of y’all asked us for a dating event that we decided to make an exception! For those who are used to our non-dating events, the structure will be a little different so as to maximize for how many people you can meet.

We'll be offering "big talk" conversation prompts to get you started, and we'll have lots of structure to make sure that you actually talk to people and that it's not awkward. Not feeling like answering a particular question? No worries, we'll have plenty to choose from, like, "When are you the happiest?" and, "If you were going to become close friends with me, what would I need to know about you?" We'll give you ground rules to make sure you feel comfortable and safe sharing as much of yourself as possible while still feeling in complete control of how much you divulge.

There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for sale!

Check-in for this event will begin around 6:45 pm. Please do your best to arrive before 7 pm so we can begin as close to on time as possible.

We are happy to offer live ASL upon request. Due the use of one-on-one conversations during the event, we request at least five days' notice to make sure we are able to provide an ASL interpreter for each person who needs them. We encourage guests to do what they need to in order to feel as comfortable as possible during the event, like taking breaks, eating, stretching, using fidget tools, leaving early, etc.

While we acknowledge that there is no such thing as a space that is perfectly accessible for everyone, we do what we can to welcome as many people as possible while prioritizing the needs of those who are systematically oppressed. COVID-19 POLICY

**Due to increasing infection rates, we are only able to accommodate folks with a vaccination card OR with negative test results within 72 hours of the event. We will be asking for either your vaccination card or your negative test result from no longer than 72 hours in the past at the door, and will unfortunately have to turn away anyone without one or the other without a refund. In accordance with local regulations, we will require masking at this event, and we'll have plenty of masks on hand for anyone wanting to use ours.**

We are monitoring COVID rates and our COVID policy is subject to change based on local guidelines.
