Over the past year, cities and towns have come to understand something that placemakers and urbanists have known for a long time: our public spaces are much more malleable than they seem. From outdoor dining, to transforming a parking lot into a performance space, we’ve seen a dramatic shift in the way we use public space. Join CultureHouse and Placemaking US as we hear from the placemakers at the center of this conversation.
During the event, placemakers and urban designers will present their work—sharing the lessons they’ve learned and how we can use the momentum of the past year to build back cities that are more equitable, sustainable, resilient, and vibrant. Stay tuned for the lineup!
After the presentation and conversation, we will hang around and enjoy drinks, dinner, and catching up!
NOTE: This event will be inside. Masks will not be required for vaccinated people. However, If you are not yet fully vaccinated, you will be required to wear a mask.
