pindrop sessions 22: a night focused on the common ground between early- and contemporary- music performed by artists of color.
On Sunday March 1, we are honored to host the oldest performing arts organization in the US (Handel & Haydn) and Hipstory, local hip-hop collective who work to promote the music and careers of emerging artists of color. Baritone and composer James Dargan (and our esteemed co-producer for this event) has arranged music for a small chamber ensemble including songs about social justice, alongside countertenor Reggie Mobley who will perform Monteverdi and more.
Together, the four performers will guide us through a immersive and important night of music.
