As the holidays approach, the pressure is on to make the perfect pie! In this hands-on cooking class taught by Powisset Chef Instructor Thi Bowles, guests will learn how to make their own dessert pies and galettes from scratch. You’ll learn techniques for flaky crusts, which pies are best suited for lattice crusts, tricks for perfecting fillings and how to bake ahead and freeze for the holidays. Chef Thi will feature three recipes for her most popular, and perfect, pies — Seasonal Fruit Hand Pie, Rustic Cheddar Pear Galette and mouth-watering Classic Apple Oat Crisp Pie!
