College Success @ Perkins is changing the education system for students with vision loss. And the launch of our new College Readiness Resource Center is a significant step toward advancing that goal. We want everyone – students, families, educators and other vision professionals – to join the conversation.
In our three-part virtual webinar series, College Readiness for Blind and Visually Impaired Students – from Resources to the Real World, we'll dive deep into what you need to know about college readiness planning for blind and visually impaired learners, and how College Success @ Perkins can help.
This interactive information session is all about Compass, our nine-month virtual program that represents a completely new take on college readiness planning for college-aspiring high school students with visual impairments. This session will feature a Compass student who will be there to take your questions and offer insight into what the program has meant for them and their future.
The third part of this Webinar will take place on March 3rd. To learn more, visit our webinar registration page (https://www.perkins.org/resource/college-readiness-for-blind-and-visually-impaired-students-from-resources-to-the-real-world/) or perkins.org/college-success/.
