Do you have pants in your closet that you never wear because the length isn't quite right? Learning how to hem your own pants by hand is a practical, money-saving skill that can instantly improve the fit of your wardrobe. Join us for this in-person, two-hour weekend workshop focused on hemming pants using hand-sewing techniques. You'll learn how to measure and mark the correct length, pin and prepare the fabric, and create a clean, professional-looking hem using essential hand stitches. We will also cover the basic tools and techniques needed specifically for hemming pants, along with tips for working with common pant fabrics such as denim, cotton, and lightweight materials.
