Tour the heart of Gloucester’s historic district and “meet” the people whose contributions changed Cape Ann. Hear stories of war heroes, sea captains, merchants, religious visionaries, artists, community leaders and even a few quirky characters. Learn what they did publicly and behind the scenes. See where they lived and the monuments they helped create.
Guided walking tours are held rain or shine and last about 1½ hours; participants should be comfortable being on their feet for that amount of time. $10 members; $20 nonmembers (includes Museum admission). Space is limited; reservations required. Tickets can be purchased by calling 978-283-0455 x10 or online at Eventbrite.
