Patriots Day and Marathon Monday Hike! Mount Pierce + Eisenhower

I realized that my work is off this coming Monday for Patriots Day and Marathon Monday, so what better way to celebrate and escape the Boston traffic than hike? My plan is to do an out-and-back hike of Mount Pierce to Mount Eisenhower via the Crawford Path, beginning and ending at the AMC Highland Center. This will total about 10 miles and 3700 ft of elevation gain and is not a beginner-level hike.

(Please note, I could not find an AllTrails of the exact route I'd like to take. We will continue up the Crawford Path to summit Mount Eisenhower, and turn around the Crawford Path to make this an out-and-back trail)

Although it is technically spring, it is the Presis, and you should still expect winter conditions and cold weather towards the summit. Snowshoes may not be necessary but microspikes and other winter gear will be, and I will be checking gear before we head out. Due to the marathon road closures and traffic, I would like to get out of Boston as early as possible, so I am making this a 5:30 AM pickup time - MBTA schedules should be OK for this. Please post your most recent winter hikes so I can evaluate if this trip will be appropriate. I hike at a moderate pace (~1.5 mph) and would like to stick together during this hike.
