Come one, come all to a fundraiser trivia event at Back Bay Social in Boston with all proceeds going to benefit cancer research and treatment at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute via the Pan-Mass Challenge. A $20 minimum donation is required to play, but all are welcome to join us!
This trivia is a little different than what you might expect from Geeks Who Drink, Stump, or the like. We'll be doing musical clues. What, you might ask, does that mean? Well, if a question was "What is the real first and last name of Slash from Guns N' Roses?" a potential musical clue could be "Cry Me a River" because his real name is Saul Hudson and the Hudson is... you guessed it, a river. They're not all so twisty-turny as that, though. :)
We'll divvy up everybody into teams once they show up, and then, your team will have the chance at some pretty great prizes. Those include movie tickets, food gift certificates, discounts from Landry's Bicycles, and neat stuff like that. We also are getting a few free rounds of appetizers on the house from the generous folks at BBS.
Fun is guaranteed and 100% of every dollar we raise goes without any hesitation to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Pan-Mass Challenge raised over $56 million for them last year--let's see how hard we can kick cancer's butt in 2019. Come on over and join us for a good time and a great cause.
